Bill Pennington wrote in Sunday's New York Times that it's "a tiny [1.7" x 1.7"] rectangular GPS device not much bigger than a quarter. Clip it to your hat or belt, press a button as you stand over your ball in the fairway or the rough, and you will hear the yardage to the middle, front and back of the green of your course."
