"I am constantly in need of a mirror" — Kristin Reiter

Wrote Erica M. Blumenthal in the New York Times, "Kristin Reiter, half of the popular fashion blog BleachBlack.com (written with her friend Valerie Killeen), has designed a silvery new iPhone case [above]. [Called Snow White and] made with a chrome-coated metal frame and LCD mirror screen protectors, the case also serves as a compact mirror, just the thing for those of us who check for lipstick smudges on the phone camera. 'I am constantly in need of a mirror,' said Ms. Reiter, who is also a global design director at Nike. 'Compacts aren’t something people really carry around anymore.'"

From the phone case website: "The 'Snow White' iPhone case features a protecting durable metal frame in a chrome coating. Front and back screw-secured frame. Front and Back LCD Mirror screen protectors. When phone is shut off, it can double very well as a personal mirror. Tools provided for assembly."

A bit spendy?

No problema.

For you and me there's the Mirror app, pictured in action below.

Free, the way we like it.

Full disclosure: I routinely go days without looking in a mirror.
