"Total Recall 2012"

I'm very much looking forward to seeing this movie, a remake of the 1990 version taken from Philip K. Dick's 1966 story, "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale."

I loved the 1990 film, though the reviews were mostly negative.

I have yet to not like a movie made from anything Philip K. Dick wrote, no matter how far the film wanders from the original.

There's something about the way he saw the world that resonates deeply with me.

I am looking forward to this one as well. Funny how many kids I've heard complain about the remake -- that weren't even alive when it first came out.

This one seems like a variation on a theme, and considering if the total recall salons were a thing, it would probably have this 'vacation' as one that is a popular one -- allowing for many interpretations. Looking forward to this.

I once read that PKD himself said he had only one theme: What is reality? That he drew the question so many different ways is a tribute to his skill as a writer.
