Rattlesnake Jake makes my day

Yesterday it was finding Smokey and today brings another wonderful surprise: noodling around my Twitter pal Rattlesnake Jake's website, I was gobsmacked* to see that I am on his very limited sidebar list of eight (8) links (below).

This makes me very happy.

Why?

1. Because I consider Rattlesnake Jake (caught by surveillance cameras above and below)

an outlier, way out under the part of the curve where you can barely see any white space between it and the x-axis as they merge.

2. I like outliers and their worldviews. All great things in the world happen when outliers decide to keep that status and be trashed as a consequence.

3. He has great sunglasses (top).

*Gobsmacked is a word whose meaning is oftimes not understood on this side of the pond. As a rule it is used — surprisingly often by people who should know better — incorrectly to mean the opposite of what is intended. Nice exegesis** here.
