boj World Exclusive®™© — BREAKING: Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes named Official Group®™© of bookofjoe

You're reading it here first — but then, where else would you read it?

I mean, stop all the multitasking, take a deep breath, and think about it.

Where was I?

Oh, yeah — which racket does Masha hope to use to somehow, some way, defeat the seemingly unbeatable mighty Serena at Wimbledon, beginning next Monday?

Those cannonball serves she rammed down Sharapova's throat to close out the French Open last month are still vivid in my mind: they left vapor trails on my TV screen — and Sharapova's retinas.

But I digress.

I awoke this morning to find that while I was sleeping, Clairy Browne herself had retweeted my tweet featuring her and her homies exploding into the Northern Hemisphere's consciousness.

Amusing to note that Elissa Schappell, who's as locked on to the Zeitgeist as anyone on the planet, in her excitement got Clairy's home all messed up and called her a Kiwi instead of an Aussi, which in fact she and her co-conspirators are.

Don't want to confuse those two: they hate each other as much as Amanda Bynes hates you.

But I digress.

From Wikipedia:

Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes are a 9 piece soul band from Melbourne, Australia that formed in 2009.

The band is fronted by lead vocalist Clairy Browne and backed by Camilla McKewen, Loretta Miller and Ruby Jones (The Bangin' Rackettes) along with Darcy McNulty (Saxophone), Peter Bee (Guitar), Jules Pascoe (Bass), Gabriel Strangio (Keyboards) and Nick Martyn (Drums).

The band's debut album "Baby Caught the Bus" was released in Australia (Independent) in 2011 and in the US (Vanguard Records) in 2013, and features the lead single "Love Letter".

No-Mess Cutting Board

Reviewed by Julian Humphreys in Cool Tools as follows:

My wife and I have been using these thick, heavy cutting boards (we actually have two side-by-side) for about a year now.

What makes them so great is that you can scrape your scraps — peels, cores, etc. — into a hole in the front of the cutting board, below which is a metal tray.

When that metal tray is full you can simply pull it out, carry it to the garbage, and dump it.

It's much easier — and more efficient — than either picking up all your peels off the cutting board and carrying them (often dripping) to the garbage, or else picking up the whole cutting board and tipping whatever is on top into the trash.

There's also a groove around the whole board where liquids on the board end up, channeled into the metal tray.
