Finally.

What took so long?

From The Green Head: "This is the 21st century and LED lights are just about everywhere — but when you slide open a drawer... total darkness. This ingenious little battery-powered LED strip light turns on when you open a drawer and shuts off automatically when you close it. No more scrounging around in the dark through a messy drawer looking for a flashlight in a power outage, grabbing mismatched socks in the early dawn, mistaking Krazy Glue for eye drops, or other similar scenarios. Designed for confined spaces so can be placed in other spots too, like cabinets, bookshelves, closets, etc."

$14.99.

OK, I finally actually looked at it. The site you point to, and the IKEA installation manual, both show it along the front edge of the drawer - I think it would be more use along the edge, if not the back, and apparently it would work just fine (as long as the sensor was at/near the front? It is triggered by a light sensor, after all)>

Here's a cheaper alternative, though clearly not as nice:

Love this part of the description though:
Rare to find such a Simple and Fashion Shaking Sensor LED light in eBay
