"A Naked Singularity" — Sergio de la Pava

Screen Shot 2013-08-27 at 4.21.01 PM

A wonderful book, which I started reading in bed last week and am now up to page 73 in.

It's 688 pages long — and I wish it were 10 times that.

So good it's unspeakable.

The first four pages appear above and below to give you a taste.

Not for everyone, but it hit my sweet spot.

The book's back story (long story short: it was self-published), related here, here, and here, is in and of itself amazing.

de la Pava does not yet have an English entry in Wikipedia so you'll have to settle for this one in Spanish and then translate it if you're unable to deal.

I am now up to page 84 in this incredible book. If I play my cards right — and keep Gray Cat close to my vest, as it were, as I read in bed every night — I might be able to make this book last another month.

Really? Self-published. Who'd a thunk?

Damn fine writer! Soo-purb! Hard to stop reading that.

Nuttin to do with nuttin here, just filler, is all
