What is it?

Answer here this time tomorrow.

Hint: smaller than a bread box.

Another: terrestrial.

A third: inedible.

Oooh I know this one!

It's a LED bouncy ball. It slowly changes through a rainbow of colors (but not in roy g. biv order) and then when it bounces it changes back to red. My roommates and I used to play catch with one in the dark. If you catch it softly enough it wouldn't go red. Whoever made it go red lost. No one was ever out and we never kept score, but it sure was a lot of fun.
