A walk out back in my untended yard — through Google Glass

Yesterday (Monday) morning around 7 a.m. I went for a walk out back to see what there was to see.

It was 34° at the time.

Just watch out for those vicious, drilling machines! (i.e. the hungry ticks).

Ah, good deer browse. More foxes. Mice and little critters. More hawks. May your meadow thrive.

interesting, Joe. i have a similar yard, 2 acres that were once kept tidy but no more. i am curious about the camera, the picture flowed very smoothly as if mounted to a steadicam

Still looks like a great yard to me; fun for exploring. Besides, you have a lot of room for frisbee! :-D

Gone the "native grasses and shrubs" path, eh? Can you apply for a grant to study the process? Last time I knew of a patron with that kind of interest, Robert Frost was the beneficiary.

It's breathtaking Joe, so quiet and no sign of a fence, something we don't have much of in Northern California. Here in my overpriced home, I look over my height-limited fence into my neighbors' windows. It's a friendly little fishbowl we live in, but you have a beautiful slice of heaven to call your own.

I never before thought of you as being reclusive.

Reminds me of the inquiring reporter asking the mortician why she liked her job. "Because I like working with people," she replied. (Anesthesiologist joke.)
