Concrete Like Paper Lamp

Say what?

From the website:

A clever twist on materials, the Concrete Like Paper Lamp by Miriam Aust and Sebastian Amelung is cast in concrete rotated to fling off excess material, rendering paper-like creases and folds.

The "Roof" models shine downwards by dangling from the ceiling, while "Hangover" seems to lie exhausted on the table, the cabinet or the floor, emitting soft diffused light.

Each piece is hand made in Germany and is completely unique, with its own edges, kinks and creases.

• Roof#1: 8.25"H x 6.3"Ø

 •Roof#2: 8.67"H x 6.3"Ø

• Roof#3: 8.25"H x 8.25"Ø

• Hangover: 7.85"H x 6.7"Ø

From $299.

There you are on Sunday with another Hangover.

But what's with all these crumples? Just like George Ohr and Isamu Noguchi. Can't these guys get anything straight?
