My Grandmother (Nana) spoke broken English (she was from near Pistoia, Italy).

Every Sunday she made a feast for the family and neighbors (those were the days!)

Her coveted tomato sauce had a "magical" wooden spoon that was the catalyst.

It was burnt and worn to half it's original size at the bowl.

If I was given a token to a time travel machine, it would to be in her arms.
