Hmmm, while trying to figure the odds of that I learned that the world population has more than doubled since then. I guess it means it's twice as likely now....gotta be careful.

Yes, it’s a bruise. However, a meteorite is not required. The same effect may be achieved by misstepping from a ladder while painting the kitchen and falling against the tiled countertop, as I can attest.

Hmm... I wonder if 'struck by meteorite' is listed as an E code in ICD-9...

Prolly in ICD-10.
Struck by meteorite composed of X traveling at X mph at X degree angle with intent to maim due to Wrath of God while at barbecue in back yard of neighbor while semi-reclined in lawn chair eating devilled egg.
