Gene Editing with CRISPR-Cas9 — Jennifer Doudna

If you Haven't been under a rock for the past year or so, you've oftimes seen news articles referencing CRISPR and/or Cas9.

Above, Jennifer Doudna — Professor of Chemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley and an investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute since 1997 — gives a 2 minute 20 second summary of exactly what this new biological tool can do.

Look for Nobel Prizes in the future for those scientists involved in making CRISPR an indispensable part of the molecular biologist's toolkit.
