Do they work, even if they hang in a direction that doesn't facilitate ink flow, like upside-down?

This has been my favorite telescoping pen for a while...the Zebra Compact
Sadly, I still use my Pilot V5s more than anything else on a daily basis no matter how huge they are. But the Zebra's are great to stick in Field Notes and leave in your back pocket.
