Matryomin Theremin in Matryoshka — Russian Doll Instrument by Masami Takeuchi

From the website:

As used in a recent new Guinness World Record theremin music concert!

The Matryomin QT is the latest creation of Japanese thereminist Masami Takeuchi.

It consists of a miniature pitch-only theremin encased in a beautiful handmade matryoshka doll made in Russia especially for the Matryomin.

Because each Matryomin is handmade, they are all different, but each of the QT models are similar in theme.

To play, simply turn it on and use your hands to manipulate the sound without ever touching it!

After some practice, the Matryomin makes a great addition to studios, live shows, or just around the house.

Features and Details:

• Easy to open

• 8.5"H x 3.9"Ø

• Weight: 18 oz.

• Internal speaker

• Uses 4 AA batteries

• Low and High audio outputs

• Instructions: Japanese (but easy to understand)
