First view of Jupiter's rings — from the inside

Bet you didn't even know Jupiter had rings.

I sure didn't till I read this.

Wait a sec... what's that movie I really liked even though I waited a long time before finally seeing it because critics universally panned it as the kitschiest of space operas?

Jupiter's south pole in images taken by NASA's Juno spacecraft (which also shot the ring photo up top) from an altitude of 32,000 miles.
