Matt Kent intends to sail his 42-inch-long yacht "Undaunted" across the Atlantic Ocean
He set off from La Gomera in the Canary Islands on April 6
but returned after concerns about his boat's seaworthiness.
He's going to set sail again this fall.

Insanity is kind.
Stupidity is accurate.
I've sailed across the South China Sea. Not a big sea as they go, but an eye-opener.
In open ocean, that contraption is a tumble-dryer.
Please don't do it. Clever narcissistic way to commit suicide, if that's the plan, in these ever-stranger days.

Agreed PupTentacle, totally cray cray.

I see a Japanese bathtub tricked out with some serious high-tech electronics that would make many blue-water sailors jealous.
What I don't see is enough storage space for food for the voyage.
I wish Matt Kent luck, but betting on luck at sea will get you dead.
He intends to set sail from the Canaries again this fall. Hmmm. What happens in the Atlantic in the fall? Oh, yeah! Hurricane season.

Absolute, unmitigated, over-the-top, off-the-rails, toys in the attic insanity.
