From Wikipedia:

I remember liking Sen-Sen as a boy in Milwaukee in the 1950s, enough to occasionally drop a hard-earned nickel on the counter for a box.

The thing that most attracted me was not the taste but, rather, the fact that each little box contained so many little pieces, such that if you nursed each one, a box could last you the whole day.

All I remember was spitting my first one out, and my second.

Never looked back.

I remember it well. I liked them too, but now that licorice is getting a bad rap, perhaps it's for the best. A box a day could kill you.

I barely remember it and I live in Rochester... I never liked licorice.

Sen Sen is mentioned in the lyrics of the Billy Joel song "Keeping the Faith" too.
