Finally, success: Autoplay audio on Chrome is OVAH

Screen Shot 2018-02-25 at 9.53.49 AM

It took me 12 days of waiting for Google to do what it said it would do starting on February 15 but the USA Today and Saveur websites kept on startling me with autoplay high-volume audio beginning 5-10 seconds after arriving at their sites.

Sometimes almost made me fall off the treadmill.

No más.

You can too!

So easy even a TechnoDolt©® can do it.

On chrome 64, you can mute sites that do auto play and it remembers the site. Just right click on the tab and select mute site.

Not my problem ‼️

The only real problem with this is that a lot of the streaming services set it up so that if autoplay is not activated, there is no way to start the video you want because of nonstandard controls (and the right clicky ones don't work either).
