World's longest gum wrapper chain

Begun by one Gary Duschl of Virginia Beach, Virginia on March 11, 1965, as of April 11, 2018 it consisted of 2,438,973 gum wrappers measuring 101,440 feet long.

That's 19.2 miles.

The Guinness Book of World Records named it one of the "Top 10 Records of the Decade."

I suppose any decade of the 53-year-span it's existed.

But I digress.
