bookofjoe's Favorite Thing: Speed Scroll function of Apple Magic Mouse

I'd say I whizz down my bookmarks ±50 times a day.

I just went and had a look and made a rough estimate of how many bookmarks I have: about 1,000.

At 20 bookmarks/screen, that's about 50 screens worth from top to bottom.

Using a conventional Apple mouse is a total pain in the butt, as I have to move the cursor to the far right margin of the window, cause the vertical scroll bar to appear, and then carefully keep the cursor on the bar as I pull it all the way down my bookmarks to get to the latest additions.

With my Magic Mouse (top), it's like being in an alternate, better reality: one finger on the mouse from top to bottom as fast as I can, repeated a few times, and I'm home — no need to look at the screen or mouse, no requirement for accurate placement of anything.

Full disclosure: it takes five swipes to go all the way up or down my 50 screens of bookmarks.
