Which American accent do you have?

17 questions, it was spot on for me (above).

Like the Blatz beer jingle from way back in the day, "I'm from Milwaukee and I oughta know...."

Find out about yours here.

Everyday life in late-19th century Paris

From Colossal:

Videographer Guy Jones slows down film from the late 1800s-early 1900s to more accurately match the speed at which modern footage is recorded and played.

In addition to editing the pace of the century-old film, Jones also adds in sound effects to make the scenes more relatable.

The editor creates Foley to accompany the clomping of horses' hooves, indistinctive background chatter of crowds, and the ringing of train bells.

The film was originally made by the Lumière brothers, among the first filmmakers.

My favorite Mad magazine cover

April 1968 Our Price 30 cents CHEAP

That's saying something.

It's from April 1968, when flower power was at its peak and "What, me worry?" was quite apt.
