Experts' Experts: When using bubble wrap, the bubbles go on the inside

I was amused the other day when I opened a package from Blue Lounge, which makes exquisite Apple accessories: each of the items I'd ordered had been individually wrapped with bubble wrap — yet the bubbles were on the outside, facing the inside of the shipping box.

Many years ago I had my Crack Research Team©® drill down on this subject and they reported back, after inquiries to a company that makes bubble wrap, that the bubbles are supposed to go on the inside — against the object to be protected — rather than the outside as was the case with my delivery.

I bet most people don't even think about which side goes where and just use the stuff regardless.

But you're not most people.

Nasir al-Mulk Mosque

From Atlas Obscura:

A spectacular rainbow of stained glass makes the "Pink Mosque" in Shiraz one of the most beautiful in Iran.

Shiraz is one of the oldest Iranian cities, with a vibrant culture of art and craftsmanship and rich history, all of which are on display at the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque.

With dazzling stained glass, thousands of painted tiles on the ceiling, and Persian rugs covering the floor, entering this place of worship is like stepping into a kaleidoscope.

Inside the mosque is an open courtyard with a rectangular pool in the center, surrounded by flowers.

The building's facade features dozens of arabesque arches, adding to the beauty of the light show from the stained glass.

The Nasir al-Mulk Mosque was constructed between 1876 and 1888, during the Qajar dynasty, which ruled Iran from 1785 to 1925.

It has been dubbed the "Pink Mosque" due to the plethora of pink-colored tiles blanketing the ceiling.

The best time to visit the mosque is in the early morning, when the sun reflects the stained glass patterns onto the floor.
