Not what Bob Ross would call a happy cloud.

Well that's something I'd love to see (from afar) and at the same time, never see! We think we drove through a tornado on the way to the Indy 500 in 2011, before the sophisticated smart phone era. The trucks were moving, so we kept on going. The hail was the biggest we've ever experienced. I thought the windshield might break. It was 7pm and black as midnight, we couldn't see anything. The hail was big enough to put a dent or two in my wife's Subaru, ping pong ball sized? I never wanted it to happen again, this was the same week of the deadly Joplin Missouri tornadoes. The next year, almost the same thing happened. We were warned by her phone, we just had no idea where we were in relation to the storm! We waited it out under the cover of a gas station.

This year, we drove through Dayton at noon on memorial day, it was on the way home. That evening a bunch of tornadoes hit the area, timing is everything!
