"Dark" — Fantastic Opening Credits and Music
Above, Season 1's.
Below, Season 2's.
Earlier this month I wrote about how much I liked Season 1 of "Dark"; Season 2 is even better, again with cinematography that's just breathtaking, in parts painterly.
It's on Netflix.

Listening to the radio online is way better than on the radio
I discovered this very useful fact last Saturday after trying and failing to find just the right place and orientation for my Sony portable radio so I could listen to AM 1070 WINA's broadcast of the UVA-Duke football game (don't get me started on why I couldn't watch it on TV*).
I clicked on the link to WINA on my computer (top) and darned if the station didn't come in perfectly clear.
Just to see, I did the same thing with my phone: same excellent result.
So my phone, iPad, and computer are super-powered radios, capable of getting any station — AM or FM — anywhere in the country, as long as they have websites, which most do.
No need to pay for a subscription to the TuneIn app — the internet iterations are free, the way we like it.
w00t!
*Long story short: Comcast and the ACC Network can't agree on contract terms, so every game between ACC teams that's not on a national network — in all sports — is blacked out. I predict this impasse will be broken well before UVA's national championship-winning basketball team starts its season next month.

"What is past is prologue" — inscribed on "Future"
Robert Aitken's 1935 sculpture is located on the northeast corner of the National Archives Building in Washington, D.C.
The quotation is from William Shakespeare's play "The Tempest."
I visited in 2012.
