bookofjoe's Favorite Thing: Thin-sliced chilled Milky Way Dark and Three Musketeers candy bars
Pictured above, these venerable favorites become another thing entirely once sliced with a super-sharp knife after overnighting in the fridge.
I get about 20 1/8"-thick pieces from one of the two bars in the double-bar packages they're now sold in at 7-Eleven.
Those 40 pieces will last all day if you play your cards right.

Flautist,
"If I have seen further than others, it is because I have stood on the soldiers of giants."
You have taken it to the next level.
I will be following in your footsteps and replicating your practice today.
Wonderful.

I do the exact same thing - chill the bars then sliver them into exquisite, perfect rectangles. But! My next step is to freeze the slices thoroughly on waxed paper, then transfer to plastic bags when solid, and allow each slim frozen confection to return to its original candy-bar consistency in my mouth. When I can resist shattering it into pieces with one vigorous bite.
