Elegant New York Times Easter Egg

Years ago I noticed the Times online had changed its way of displaying photos, such that after you clicked to enlarge them (above) there was no need to click again to reduce them to their baseline size: rather, simply scrolling down to continue reading automatically returned the images to their original smaller size (below).

So very cool that I never remarked on it until now.

I haven't seen this feature anywhere else online.
