Every Noise at Once

Screen Shot 2020-01-21 at 7.42.17 AM

"Every Noise at Once is an ongoing attempt at an algorithmically-generated, readability-adjusted scatter-plot of the musical genre-space, based on data tracked and analyzed for 3,294 genres by Spotify as of July 29, 2019. The calibration is fuzzy, but in general down is more organic, up is more mechanical and electric; left is denser and more atmospheric, right is spikier and bouncier."

Got that?

Almost all just fake "sub-genres" of the same old leftover two-beat disco-pop like 99% of the stuff you hear all day long.

Just listen. Any radio station, TV show, restaurant, grocery, whatever.

GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-GUNK-TISH-..............

Very nearly all of it.
