About Rekiseisha:
After establishing themselves in the sword making business, Rekiseisha was founded in 1905 after the Haito ordinance prohibited sword production in 1876.
Shifting their focus to furniture, they quickly learned that importing gold and silver folding screens from Kyoto was costly and time-intensive.
They began creating their own gold leaf, and their product is now revered throughout Japan.
