I'm so excited!

I just got a bee in my bonnet about how I make bookofjoe.

As a rule, since forever I've created posts in advance, with scheduled future publication.

Once I had as many as 160 (!) future posts lined up, at a time when I was publishing 8x daily rather than today's relatively relaxed pace of 5/day.

Those 20 days worth of posts were to cover a period when I was still passing gas, a two-week stint in Richmond, Virginia during which I would have to take call and use a hotel's internet and not have the luxury of checking and rechecking from mission control here at home.

Like I said, a bee got in just now and I remembered how the legendary Art Buchwald once remarked how easy his life was: he sat down, typed his column in 20 minutes and then did whatever he wanted the rest of the day.

I thought to myself, "What if instead of always lining up a bunch of future posts, I sat down each morning and cranked out only the next day's items?

I'm gonna try it starting tomorrow.

I figure about an hour should do the trick.

Of course, if Typepad's user interface is down, there won't be a cushion of future posts to plug in so boj will be effectively static until things get fixed.

Fair warning.

Wait a sec — what's that music  I'm hearing?

"I figure about an hour should do the trick." Bwahahahahaha Snort Gasp Hahahahashahahaha !!!!

Cmon, if you find 5 or 6 articles you can quote or link to maybe less than an hour.
But if you're going to actually write posts from information you gathered, about shit that interests you, fugetaboutit.

And that doesn't even consider... bum bum bum bum... Rabbit Holes.
