'U Can't Touch This' & 'Super Freak'

The other day I was out running, listening to MC Hammer's 1990 smash hit "U Can't Touch This."

It struck me that the song was very similar to Rick James 1981 mega-hit "Super Freak."

Turns out a tone-deaf blogger on rare occasions can suss something out.

"U Can't Touch This" was co-written, produced, and performed by MC Hammer.
