AI Logo Maker

Wrote Chris Glass,

"Janelle Shane's AI Weirdness blog is great. This particular post makes me wonder about my job security."

You know what they say:

"When the going gets tough, AI Weirdness turns pro."

Wait a sec... that can't be right....

YouTube description:

The AirJelly is a remote-controlled jellyfish that glides  through the air, thanks to a helium-filled balloon propelled by a central electric drive unit.

A poetic and gracious robot that will make you reconsider your view of machines.

These pieces of cold metal and plastic can indeed look like living things.

Easy peasy way to unknot a knot

I've used my nails and needles and screwdrivers, among other things, but it was only when I tried an ordinary dinner fork that undoing a knot became not only easy but also kind of fun.

A fork works because it combines rigidity and narrowness that widens gradually along with a lack of sharp edges, thus opening the space between tightly compressed parts of the knot without damaging the material.

Rocket Wrench

Screen Shot 2022-06-27 at 11.06.05 AM

Just the thing for those recalcitrant pickle jars.

But I digress.

A rocket wrench is a tool used to disarm bombs, composed of two explosive charges arranged around a chuck.

The user attaches the device to the part they wish to unscrew and then fires the charges, producing high torque from a safe distance.

From the website:

The RE61 Rocket Wrench is a lightweight high-torque wrench originally developed for de-arming and other EOD applications.

The Rocket Wrench RE61 RW is activated by two 0.5" calibre electrically initiated EOD power cartridges.
