'Borgen — Power & Glory'

Season 4 has arrived, this time centering on Greenland, Denmark's increasingly important former territory which is becoming IRL the tail wagging the dog as global warming proceeds and the ice sheet melts.

Where the previous three seasons revolved around the in-fighting in Danish politics, this one looks outward.

Much of the show was shot in Greenland, allowing me my first-ever extended look at this almost otherworldly beautiful place.

Prediction: in 50 years a completely independent Greenland will be among the most powerful nations on Earth as a result of global warming's uncovering its enormous natural resources along with its location at ground zero amongst the planet's new prime shipping routes.
