'Industry'

This 8-part series on HBO Max kind of snuck in under the radar.

It's awfully good, with excellent actors none of whom I'd ever heard of/seen before and smart, crackling dialogue.

Long story line short: A group of new college graduates are hired by a premier financial services firm in London.

They're told on their first day that half the group will be fired in six months on RIF (reduction in force) day.

Kind of like 'Thunderdome' — but with survival of those best able to endure 18-hour days and overbearing, demanding, abusive bosses and supervisors.
