I felt that "oof." Indeed, scary to the max.

Beautiful form! I give the team a 10!❤️

I saw my little six-pound tortoiseshell kitty (well, 8 years old) do a cat version of that once when she jumped from the top basement step to the concrete floor 10 feet below. (I was strenuously discouraging this stunt, by the way.) She unfurled all her loose belly skin and front-legs-to-back-legs-skin, and even spread out the toe webbing, and floated down like a champ. Landed light as a feather with a very slight but still disconcerting "oof" sound.

Scared me to death...I didn't let her go in the basement any more.

Wow, that reminds me of the trust game we used to play in acting class. What a thing of beauty, on both ends.
