BehindTheMedspeak: Put M.D. after your name if you need to be a business
Lots of companies only sell and ship to businesses and business addresses, so as an everyday person you're out of luck.
Not if you're a boj reader!
Even though I'm not incorporated or an LLC or anything remotely like a real business, I learned a long time ago that putting
Joseph A. Stirt, M.D.
in the Company Name box when ordering online works 100% of the time.
The reason it works is because many doctors are indeed solo practitioners and so it's assumed they're businesses.
And don't worry about the fact you're lying: it's not like you're taking out someone's appendix or suchlike.
Allez!

Thanks for the tip. Will check if it works with overseas shipment next time.

Putting "Dr." on the front end works and they never ask whether it's medicine, medieval literature, or (heaven help us) engineering. Don't get listed in any directory that way though or you'll get the weirdest phone calls....

Well, I have a big jar of appendixes sitting on my organ shelf that says you could be wrong about the lying part.
