Greisinger (Tolkien) Museum
The museum, located in Jenins, Switzerland, opened October 4, 2013.
It houses the Greisinger Collection, Bernd Greisinger's private collection on the subject of Middle-earth.
It is the largest and most important of its kind in the world, consisting primarily of art and literature along with collectors' items of all kinds.
From the museum website:
The construction of the museum started in mid-2008.
The planning and execution of the museum were geared towards the optimized use of the Greisinger Collection.
All rooms offer visitors the feeling of being in Middle-earth due to their ambience.
The door of the hobbit cave leads to the museum, most of which is underground.
