CHERRY Slidepad Arm/Wrist Rest
I've been using a Belkin gel wrist rest for my mousing hand since forever but lately even its smooth fabric surface has become a little irritating against my skin.
I had my Crack Research Team©® see if there's anything new in this department and indeed there is: the CHERRY device pictured above and below.
Unlike other wrist rests with adhesive surfaces underneath meant to stay put on your desk,
this one has four slippery contact points (above) to enable the support to move along with your arm
and thus prevent friction between skin and tool.
Rather than gel padding like in the Belkin, the CHERRY employs memory foam to cushion your wrist.
I like it.
Strange looking in a good way, like it might be right at home on the holodeck of the Enterprise.
Symmetrical so it works with either arm; you can use two for typing.
