Revo Chair
Saw this on Core77 this past Friday, with Rain Noe's commentary; he called it "institutional furniture with flair."
Created by Swiss industrial designer Simone Viola.
Made of a recyclable but unspecified "ecoplastic," it was designed for institutions.
The chair comes in both full-back and half-back versions, with or without upholstered seats, an attached polypropylene writing surface, and a polypropylene circular base that conceals casters beneath it.
Looks kinda cool, reminds me of those ubiquitous rolling library stools that double as stepstools or seats: I'm surprised Noe didn't remark on this.
Without upholstered seat, casters, or writing surface: $168.
With upholstered seat, without casters or writing surface: $218.
With casters, without upholstered seat or writing surface: $264.
