Limited-Edition Barbie Corvette Popcorn Holder

1960s astronauts may have received Corvettes for (practically) free, but AMC Theatres is charging $34.99 for this one.
It's being sold at their concession stands at theaters showing "Barbie: The Movie," and is a "highly detailed" replica of Barbie's ride…designed to serve as a popcorn container:
I figured this had to be Mattel's doing, but no; I've learned this is an ongoing AMC initiative to generate yet more profits at the concession stand.
Great news: you don't have to go see "Barbie" to get one of these:

Plus which, after rooting around looking up different size popcorn containers, I discovered that 85 ounces of popped corn, allegedly what the popcorn Corvette holds, fills a cup 6.5" tall and 7" diameter. Not enough for me! I'd need three Corvettes full (no butter) at least to last through a movie. Probably six if I watched Oppenheimer.
And what a pain in the butt trying to fish popcorn out from between the seats. No thanks. I'll just smuggle in my family size bag of SkinnyPop like I always do.

How is this a popcorn container? The picture shows it spilling over the top, and who would want to get butter on their collectible’s seats? Is this from the Onion? What am I missing?
