3M Heavy Duty Mounting Tape
Below, excerpts from Douglas Cawley's Cool Tools review.
This product is a game-changer.
Goodbye glue, screws, nails, rivets, and studs.
In the right application, it permanently bonds plastic, fiberglass, porcelain, glass, PVC, wood, cloth, concrete, and just about any other material you're likely to encounter.
Mounting a GPS unit on a car dash? Done. Need to secure a circuit board to a metal rack? No problem. Want to stick together tricky space-age materials, like Velcro to a Kydex knife sheath? Forget about exotic adhesives: use this VHB (Very High Bond) tape.
Don't mistake this stuff for temporary mounting tape: it forms a PERMANENT bond, and trying to remove it will likely remove the finish on both bonded surfaces.
3/4" x 45 foot roll: $40.00.

I can testify that this is powerful stuff. Be very careful what you attach it to as it is NOT coming off without mountains of elbow grease. I got tired of the pads coming off of the legs of our kitchen chairs. I took squares of this and attached the pads and they have not moved or shifted in over a year. I failed to consider the effort that would be require to replace worn out pads. Still no regrets.

I bought a roll a long time ago, I still haven't used it. I think it was when you posted it around Nov 21, 2017.
