Apple Watch Keychain Charger
I happened on this device after reading Nicole Nguyen's recent Wall Street Journal review of the Apple Watch 9.
She wrote, "Garmin wearables, meanwhile, have lower-resolution displays that can last days. Some models have solar panels embedded in their watch faces, and can last weeks. It's something I’m painfully reminded of every time I forget my Apple Watch charger on a weekend trip (my italics). Cue the gloating by my Garmin-wearing husband, who never brings his charger."
Huh?
She's the paper's lead tech columnist so how is it that TechnoDolt©®™ moi had to post this on X
to direct her to pick up the clue phone and get on the ABC (always be charging) bandwagon?

I traveled for work for 14 years, the only way I could get it to work smoothly was to duplicate everything rather than pack each time. Back then it was mostly toiletries, but now it's charging cables for all our devices. They stay in the backpack to fit our post work travel lifestyle.
I use the Apple phone mag safe charger on the road and have a spare watch mag safe in addition to whatever is needed for the laptop I bring. Non Apple chargers are hit and miss. I have a mag safe battery that works well enough for a knock off.
