Cabbage Chair
YouTube description: "Made from reclaimed materials, the Cabbage chair is a compact roll of paper that the user opens up and peels back, layer by layer, to create a soft enclosure for the body, requiring no finishing, assembly, or hardware. Resins added to the paper during the production process give it strength and memory, while the pleats make the paper springy and elastic."
More: "Looks modishly high-end but is strictly D.I.Y.: You take an upright roll of tightly layered paper and peel back the sheets until you have the seat you want."
Designed by Oki Sato of Nendo in response to a challenge from Issey Miyake to create new products for the twenty-first century.
It originally appeared in the show "Why Design Now?" at the National Design Triennial at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York City in 2011.

'Incendies'
A superb 2010 film directed by Denis Villeneuve, who subsequently directed "Sicario," "Arrival," "Blade Runner 2049," "Dune," and "Dune Part 2."
"Incendies" was nominated for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
One of a vanishingly small number of movies I've watched that I wished were even longer (it runs 130 minutes).
It has a twisty, compelling plot that — unlike those in most films with this feature — slowly built in a way that let me follow it without getting confused and lost.
Then comes an out-of-the-blue yet completely plausible blockbuster surprise of an ending.
One of the top five movies I've seen so far this year — and I've watched a lot of them, perhaps 200.
