Starbucks Iced Coffee Easter Egg

You'll find Starbucks Blonde Roast Iced Black Coffee on the shelf of your grocery store.

It's excellent.

You get 48 ounces (1.5 quarts) for $5 at Kroger, which is way cheaper than what you'll pay at a Starbucks store, where a small iced Americano will set you back $5.45 — not to mention the fact that you don't have to wait in line or get dressed or travel any farther than your fridge to get some.

I've been drinking the stuff for some time now but only noticed a wonderful Easter Egg — the transparent strip on the back of the bottle showing you how much coffee remains — this morning.

'Force of Nature: The Dry 2'

I just watched this terrific new film, the sequel to "The Dry" (below),

which was equally good.

Both are based on Jane Harper's superb 2016 novel, "The Dry."

Spend some time in Australia, which is the setting for both movies as well as the novel.

Plenty of good reading and watching ahead should you choose to replicate and telescope my sequence of the past eight years.
