Clean the microwave — or get a new one?

A couple months ago I decided to make a video (above) showing the state of my disgusting microwave.

A YouTube viewer's comment:

1 part vinegar 2 parts water in microwave safe bowl set microwave for 5 minutes then wipe it out. Easy peezy Please be careful not to burn yourself. I've seen & cleaned worse.

That got me all fired up so I went and did exactly as described.
