Ah the magic of find my. I found a pair of airpod pro yesterday when I was out walking. They were not in the case, but they made noise when I picked them up and put them in the case so they seemed ok. When I brought them home, find my kicked in and I was able to get the headphones back to the owner. He reported them lost and left his number, so I contacted him. They had been outside for a week!
