'Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye'

From YouTube:

Written and recorded [in 1969] by studio musicians Garrett Scott, Dale Frashuer, and producer/writer Paul Leka at Mercury studios in New York City.

When it topped the charts, Leka put together a band called Steam and sent them out on tour in support of the song.

In 1970, the "Steam" was let out of the band and the band disbanded.

Close your eyes and listen again and tell me that's not Cher singing.

I couldn't believe it was a guy when I first found out.

Great song, but it’s hard to believe, looking back, that men ever thought wearing their hair that way looked good. : )
